FAQ

How does Kruz plan a loop?

Based on your time or distance, it picks great places around your start from the map (castles, mountain passes, viewpoints, lakes) and links them into a loop that returns to where you set off. It avoids motorways, dead-end valleys and riding the same road there and back.

Is the loop planner free?

Yes, it’s free and needs no sign-up.

Can I open a loop in Google Maps or on a Garmin?

Yes. Open the loop in Google Maps with one tap, or download a GPX file for Garmin, your bike sat-nav or Mapy.cz.

Where does it work?

Best in Slovakia, Czechia, Austria, Hungary and southern Poland – that’s where Kruz has a database of more than 40,000 interesting places.

How long can a loop be?

From 30 minutes to 5 hours of riding, or from 20 to 400 kilometres. By car or by motorbike.
